Coastal Plains Images

Bill Fales was born and raised in New England where he spent his free-time exploring the coastline of the Atlantic Ocean. In spite of a spiritual connection to the coast, he left New England as a young adult to move to Arizona. However, on his way through Kansas, he stopped to visit some friends. During his visit, he felt an affinity with the open plains of Kansas and decided to stay. That was decades ago and he has never regretted his decision to stay here. The company name, Coastal Plains Images, represents his love of the land of his youth, the East Coast, as well as his chosen home, the Kansas Plains.  Where ever Bill goes, his cameras are his constant companions. His photographs capture unique perspectives of the world around him. His photos bring attention to the natural beauty around us, that we so often miss in our hurried existence. His Kansas Sky-scapes, show the beauty of the open plains, highlighting the immense sky-views that bless our fair state. His patience for capturing the "perfect" shot is reflected in his Landscape, Sunrise/Sunset and Wildlife photographs and his understanding of true beauty is reflected in his intimate photographs of flowers.
